Furman team looks to secure its first road win of the season when it travels to Chattanooga for a 7 p.m. contest against the Mocs at the McKenzie Arena on Thursday.
Furman (4-18, 3-10) dropped a 75-42 decision at Wofford on Saturday while the Mocs (14-9, 9-4) fell 70-64 at Western Carolina on Monday night.
Chattanooga downed the Paladins 77-60 in the first meeting of the year between the two teams on January 5, at Timmons Arena. Stephen McDowell totaled 21 points to lead the Mocs who shot 48% from the field while holding Furman to 28.8% shooting from the floor.
The Mocs lead the all-time series with Furman 44-22 and have won 22 of the last 25 meetings against the Paladins in Chattanooga.
Furman returns home on Sunday to host UNC Greensboro. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. at Timmons Arena.
