The 72nd-ranked Furman men's tennis team rolled by College of Charleston in Southern Conference action today, recording a 7-0 victory.
Furman won the doubles point with wins at the number two and three spots. In the second spot, the Paladin duo of Bo Ladyman and Jordan Walters defeated Joe Nicolazzi and Steven Myers by a score of 8-3, while the tandem of Jason Basile and Chris Rhyne topped Jimmy Petit and Don Murray in the third spot by a score of 8-5.
Furman swept all six singles matches, with five wins coming in two straight sets.
With the win, Furman improves to 7-10 overall and 3-0 in Southern Conference play. The Paladins will take the court again Sunday as they travel to Chattanooga to take on the Mocs.
