GREENVILLE, S.C. - After posting a perfect 9-0 Southern Conference record and winning its eighth league regular season championship, the Furman men's tennis team heads to the Southern Conference tournament with the number one seed.

The Paladins enter the tournament with a 67th-place ranking in the latest ITA poll. Furman will face the winner of No. 8 Chattanooga and No. 9 College of Charleston, a match that will take place on Thursday, April 17 at 12:00 p.m.

With a 5-2 win over Davidson last Saturday afternoon, Furman won the SoCon regular-season crown for the eighth time. Furman shared the regular season title with Elon in 2006 and last won it outright in 2002.
