The Furman women's golf maintained its spot in fourth place firing a second round 304 on Saturday at the Bryan National Collegiate at the par 72 Bryan Park Players Course in Browns Summit, N.C.
Jaclyn Hilea fashioned a three-over-par round to pace the Paladins and grab a share of 11th place with teammate Stefanie Kenoyer who posted a four-over 76. The pair are seven-over-par entering Sunday's final round.
Top-ranked Duke (294-304=598) holds a one-stroke lead over Florida (298-301=599) and six-stroke edge over third place Auburn. Furman (301-305=604) follows in fourth while Virginia and Arkansas are tied for fifth in a field that boasts 13 of the top 30 teams in the nation.
Arkansas' Stacy Lewis (70-69=139) leads Duke's Amanda Blumenherst and College of Charleston's Steffi Kirchmayr by four strokes after 36 holes of the 54-hole event.
