The Patriot golfers finished round one of the First Market Bank Intercollegiate in 17th place. The two-round event is being held at the Par 71 6,809 yard River Course at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va.

Senior J.J. Amoruso leads the Patriots and is tied for 36 overall after shooting a first round four-over par 75. Marshall Tinsley carded a 77 and Clark Bixler scored a 78. Greg Brouse finished out the Patriots scoring with a 81.

The final round will be played on Tuesday.
