FAIRFAX, Va. - Junior Eric Knight picked up another first-place finish en route to being named the Colonial Athletic Association Most Outstanding Swimmer, as the 2008 CAA Swimming and Diving Championship came to a close on Saturday evening at Jim McKay Natatorium on the George Mason University campus. UNC Wilmington won the men's title with a score of 702, while the Towson women's team took home the championship with a 753.5 team score.

Mason finished in fourth place on the men's side with a score of 480.5, while the women also ended the championship in fourth with a total team score of 438.

Knight won three events on the week, culminating with a first place, NCAA B-cut time of 2:00.00 in the 200-yard breaststroke.
