The Mason women's rowing team will host a Double Dual Regatta on the Occoquan Reservoir this Sunday, April 6th. The University of Dayton, Georgetown, Bucknell, The George Washington University, and MIT will participate.

The Mason boats will face Head Coach Geoff Dillard's Alma Mater, Dayton, to start the morning off. Coach Dillard notes, "Dayton has shown some solid early season speed and we're expecting competitive racing in all the boat classes. We're hoping to make this race a yearly face-off and hope to start the series off with a win."

In the afternoon session, Mason will face cross-town rival Georgetown University. Last year saw Mason's first-ever win against Georgetown in the Varsity 8. Mason and Georgetown both raced last weekend against UNC in separate races. Georgetown won a close race, while Mason narrowly lost. On Sunday, Mason will challenge the Georgetown Varsity 8 in competitive racing, having worked hard this week to correct last Saturday's mis-steps. This Marquee event will start at 12:50pm.

Bucknell, GW and MIT will face off in separate duals in between the Mason races, providing spectoators the opportunity to witness high-level Division I women's rowing competition.
