RICHMOND, Va. - George Mason sophomore infielder Ashli Breau received Colonial Athletic Association Softball Player of the Week honors after leading the Patriots to three wins last week, the conference office announced on Tuesday. Breau went 7-for-13 in Mason's four games, recording a hit in each contest. She finished the week hitting .538 with six RBI, two runs scored, one walk, a double and two home runs.

The infielder opened the week against Mount St. Mary's with a 3-for-4 outing, which included a double and an RBI, in the Patriots' only loss of the week. In a doubleheader against Iona, Breau went 3-for-6 with five RBI and two home runs to close out the week.

Mason continues its week-long Spring Break trip to Florida on Thursday when it travels to Clearwater to participate in the USF Under Armour Showcase.
