Softball Crushes #2 Seed South Florida 9-2 To Remain Alive In NCAA Tournament

GAINESEVILLE, Fla. - Junior Blair Shimandle was 2-for-2 with a home run and three RBI helping fourth-seeded Georgia Tech (32-30) knock off second-seeded South Florida (44-20) in an elimination game Saturday afternoon in the NCAA Tournament. The Yellow Jackets will now play Central Florida at 6:00 for a trip to Sunday's regional final against #1 Florida.
