Wednesday's Game: GW (8-14, 4-8) hosts Rhode Island (20-8, 6-7) for the second meeting this season and the 48th meeting in the series. GW fell to the Rams, 81-70, on Jan. 23 in Kingston, RI. That loss snapped a six-game winning streak against URI.

URI has three players averaging double figure points led by senior F Will Daniels' 19.0 ppg and Kahiem Seawright's 8.2 rebounds is second in the A-10. Keith Cothran is third in the A-10 with 1.79 steals a game and Jimmy Baron, the son of Rams' head coach, Jim Baron, has hit 85 three-pointers. For the season, URI is shooting 47.5 percent from the field, averages 81.8 points a game and is outrebounding opponents by nearly three caroms a game. GW assistant coach Roland Houston is a former URI standout (1978-82) while URI assistant coach Kevin Clark is a former GW assistant coach (1995-98).
