CHENEY, Wash. - - The Gonzaga University men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to local foe Eastern Washington University Tuesday at Cheney, Wash.

With the loss, the Bulldogs fall to 3-4 on the season, while the Eagles improve to 3-2.

Eastern earned the doubles point, taking all three doubles matches. At No. 1, GU's duo of Roman Dojcak and Stefan Feddersen dropped an 8-2 decision to Pannahara Mam and Kyle Schraeder. The Bulldogs' Charles Adams and Zack Radetzky fell to Jonathan Davis and Patrick Millican 8-4 at No. 2 while Cooper Fratt and Conor Feeney fell 8-0 to Nico Riego de Dios and Art Karas at No. 3.

The Eagles continued their winning ways, earning victories at all six positions. Adams was the lone Zag to not fall in straight-sets as the senior fell 4-6, 6-0, 1-0 (10-3) to Millican at No. 6. At No. 1, Mam posted a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Dojcak, while Radetzky fell to Schraeder at No. 2. Feddersen fell to the hands of Riego de Dios 7-5, 6-2 at No. 3. Fratt dropped a 6-3, 6-3 decision to Karas at No. 4, while Feeney rounded out singles play with a 6-3, 6-3 loss to Pez at No. 5.

The Bulldogs will look to return to their winning ways Feb. 22-24 when they travel to the Bay Area for a trio of matches.
