Brynn Murphy enters her first season as a volunteer assistant coach with Gonzaga University in 2007. Murphy comes to GU after a stellar playing career at UCLA.

Murphy was a four-year starter with the Bruins, closing out her career ninth in the UCLA record books in block assists (335), 10th in total blocks (373) and 17th in kills (1,242). She was a All-Pacific-10 first-team honoree in 2003 and an All-Pacific-10 honorable mention in 2004.

Murphy graduated from UCLA with a bachelors of arts in history in December 2005.
