One day after Callistus Eziukwu and the Lakers sealed the GLIAC Championship with a last-second dunk, they were rewarded with the top seed in the Great Lakes Region in the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Tournament. Grand Valley State (33-0) will face eighth seeded St. Joseph's (18-11) in the first round of the tournament.

As a result of being named the top seed in the region, Grand Valley has earned the right to host the regional tournament games. GVSU Fieldhouse Arena will host the first round games on Saturday (Mar. 15), second round games on Sunday (Mar. 16), and the regional championship will be held on Tuesday (Mar. 18). Ticket information will be available at www.gvsulakers.com Monday (March 9) morning.
