Springfield, Mass. - Grand Valley State senior center Callistus Eziukwu continued to reap honors for an outstanding senior season. Eziukwu and the undefeated top-ranked Grand Valley State basketball team will square off against #3 Winona State Wednesday night (March 26) at 6 p.m. in Springfield, Mass. at the MassMutual Center.

Eziukwu was named Basketball Times and NABC First-Team All-America, while Daktronics named him Second-Team All-American. The 6-10 senior center averaged career-highs in points (15.6) and rebounds (8.8) during his senior season. In addition, he blocked 86 shots and shot 62.5 percent from the floor. Eziukwu was named the 2008 GLIAC Player of the Year and First-Team All-Great Lakes Region by both Daktronics and the NABC.
