Results

Salisbury, N.C. - Josh Burt and the Grand Valley State men's golf team are in 10th place after round one of the Richard Rendleman Invitational at Catawba College. Burt shot a +2 73 as the top Laker in the field, holding down 18th place. As a team, Grand Valley State shot a 299, just two shots out of eighth place.

Burt was followed by Matthew Malloure, who came in at a tie for 25th with a three-over 74. Mike Basinski's 75 (+4) put him 35th. Josh Orler's +6 77 put him 53rd and Tyler Hering finished at +7 78. South Carolina-Aiken leads at 284 and the top player, Patrick Wilson from Lander University, is at a -4 67.
