Findlay, Ohio - After entering the second day of competition tied for first place, Grand Valley State University took sole possession of the top spot following three under-par performances. Tyler Hering, Josh Burt and Josh Orler all shot one-under 71 on the day to help the Lakers to a total score of 587, which is three strokes ahead of second-place Wayne State.
Mike Basinski shot a two-over 74, but is still the top Laker in the standings, tied for eighth place. Hering's second-day 71, combined with his 76 from the first day, puts him in a tie for 12th place. Burt is one stroke behind Hering, in sole possession of 14th place with a 148 (77-71). Right behind him is Orler, who sits in 19th place with a 150 (79-71). Matt Malloure is in a tie for 28th place after shooting a 78 on day two.
