Bay City, Mich. - The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced that Josh Orler has been named the GLIAC Men's Golf Athlete of the Week. Orler led Grand Valley State to a first-place finish at the Parkside Invitational on March 29-30. Orler shot a 139, four strokes ahead of the next competitor, to finish first overall at the event.

The Lakers' final score of 588 was one point ahead of second-place Indianapolis. Orler shot a daily-low round of 69 on day one to lead the pack and then closed out with a 70 on day two to win with a score of 139.
