Bay City, Mich. - Crystal Zick and Erin Cyplik closed out their senior seasons by earning All-GLIAC North honors. The two seniors earned All-GLIAC North First and Second Team honors, respectively. They were joined by Nicole Carr, who earned All-GLIAC North Defensive Team plaudits on Thursday.
In her final campaign at Grand Valley State, Zick led the team in scoring by averaging 14.7 points per game. She also led the team with 103 assists and ended her career as the all-time leader in assists at Grand Valley, as well as the only player in GVSU history to score 1500 points and dish out 400 assists. She recorded 62 steals and 63 rebounds (2.4 rpg) this season, as well. She shot 40.2 percent from the field and 74.2 percent from the charity stripe.
Cyplik finished the season third on the team in scoring at 11.6 points per game and second in rebounding at 5.9 rebounds per game. She shot 40.4 percent from the field and 35.9 percent from long range. She also shot a team-best 82.1 percent from the free throw line. She tallied 50 steals and 34 assists on the year.
Carr earned All-GLIAC North Defensive team honors by grabbing 5.6 rebounds per game and notching 57 steals. She also finished the season at 6.6 points per game and a team-best 47.0 shooting percentage from the field.
