Indianapolis, Ind. - Grand Valley State placed second in the 200 medley relay and finished day one at GLIAC Championships with 56 points. Grand Valley State will continue competition Thursday morning with prelims.

The GVSU 200 medley relay team finished second with a time of 1:47.52. Danielle Buglio opened with a 27.65 backstroke, followed by Sam Stump in the breastroke, Jenna Thayer in the butterfly and Allison Scholz in the 50 free. Katie Lawrie finished sixth in the 1650 free (18:10.03), while Megan Hahler was 11th (18:15.92) and Ashley Berish 14th (18:50.28).
