Washington, D.C. - The Georgetown University men's crews took to the water on Saturday morning and both were unable to secure a victory against their worthy adversaries. The Heavyweight boats traveled to the Cayuga Lake Inlet in Ithaca, N.Y. to battle Cornell, while the Lightweight crews were on Lake Carnegie in Princeton, N.J. competing to capture the Fosburgh Cup against Princeton and Columbia.

GU's Heavyweights were unable to capture a win against the Big Red, losing the Varsity 8 race by three seconds. That time was actually the closest the Hoyas came to a victory as the Second Varsity 8, Third Varsity 8 and Freshman/Novice 8 were unable to earn wins in their races.

The Georgetown Lightweights finished third in Princeton, ending their race with a time of 6:37.6. The Second Varsity 8 and Freshman/Novice 8 fared better as both boats beat out their counterparts from Columbia to finish second in their heats.
