Georgetown Summer Journals - Week Two

June 12, 2006

Welcome! The spirits of the real boys of summer are still high. We are approaching every workout with intensity, determination, and a will to be better than the workout before. We are hoping you in your respective states are doing the same. Control what you can-- that is the true determinant of your strength and how conditioned your body is. Take your workouts seriously, especially all of you incoming freshmen who do not yet know what playing ball on the college gridiron requires. The workouts have increased in intensity, but our determination is still stride for stride. We want to win. Make sure you do too. Work hard! Work harder!

The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather in a lack of will.
--Vince Lombardi
