Washington, D.C. - The Georgetown University men's soccer team travels begins a two-game road trip on Saturday, October 20 when the Hoyas travel to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to square off with the Marquette Golden Eagles. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. EST with live stats available at www.guhoyas.com. Georgetown (4-9-0, 2-5-0) currently has six points in the BIG EAST Blue Division standings, one full game ahead of Marquette (2-9-2, 1-6-0). Saturday's match marks just the third meeting between the schools. The Hoyas have won the previous two matches, both by a 1-0 score. GU won last year in the season finale for both schools. The Hoyas are coming off a 2-1 overtime victory over American University on Tuesday. It was GU's second consecutive OT game. Freshman Chandler Diggs (Coppell, Texas/Coppell) picked up his second game-winning goal of the season, finding the back of the net in the 95th minute. Classmate Seth C'deBaca (Albuquerque, N.M./Sandia Prep) recorded his second assist of the game on the game-winner. Diggs ranks second on the team with five points (2 G, 1 A) while C'deBaca has a team-best three assists. The AU game marked the first come-from-behind win for the Hoyas this season. Georgetown is averaging one goal per game over the last four games after the Hoyas managed just three goals through the team's first nine matches. Sophomore forward Nick Kay leads the Golden Eagles with three goals. Marquette has a 1-4 record in their games against common Georgetown opponents (Providence; L, 2-0, Cincinnati; W, 2-1, Louisville; L, 2-0, Rutgers; L, 1-0, Villanova, L, 1-0). Tuesday, October 23, Georgetown will travel 11 miles northeast to take on the Maryland Terrapins in the final non-league game of the season for the Blue & Gray.
