PHOENIX, Ariz. - Holy Cross graduating senior captain Matt Burke (Milton, Mass.) has signed a standard player's contract with the ECHL's Phoenix RoadRunners. Burke is expected to be in the lineup tonight when Phoenix hosts the Victoria Salmon Kings. The RoadRunners are the affiliate of the NHL's San Jose Sharks and the AHL's Worcester Sharks.

Burke was just recently named to the Atlantic Hockey All-Conference Third Team. He was the team captain for the Crusaders as a senior as he had three goals and 11 assists for 14 points in 30 games. For his career he had 15 goals and 50 assists for 65 points in 138 career games. His 138 games played are tied for fourth on the Holy Cross all-time career games played list.
