Holy Cross Men's Lacrosse Game At Dartmouth Postponed

Feb. 25, 2008

WORCESTER, Mass. - The men's lacrosse game between Holy Cross and Dartmouth originally scheduled for Tuesday, February 26 in Hanover, N.H., has been postponed due to the expected inclement weather on Tuesday. The game will be made up on Wednesday, March 26 at 3:00 p.m.

The Crusaders are 2-0 after defeating Yale by a score of 7-6 on February 24. The win over Yale marked the first time in school history that the Crusaders have defeated the Bulldogs in men's lacrosse. Yale won the previous first seven contests starting in 1965. Junior goalie Jimmy Harrison (East Williston, N.Y.) was named the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Division I Player of the Week for his career best 22 saves in the win. His .786 save percentage was the fourth best save percentage in a single-game in school history.

The Crusaders return to action when they open the Patriot League season on Saturday, March 1, when they travel to Bethlehem, Pa. to take on Lehigh at noon.
