Flushing, N.Y. - The men's and women's tennis teams traveled to Flushing N.Y. this past weekend to take on St. Francis. Both men and women's teams finished the day off victorious, men won 6-1 while women dominated 7-0. The women now have a 2-1 record, while the men are 1-0.

In No. 1 singles sophomore Kristen Meahl (Flamouth, Maine) defeated Tara Farone of St. Francis 6-0, 6-0. All singles were won 6-0, 6-0 as the Crusaders were tough not allowing any points scored from their opponent. It was the same in No. 1 and No. 2 doubles, winning 8-0.

On the men's side, junior Angelo Sica (Chester, N.J.) took on Elan Evans in No.2 singles for a 6-1, 6-1 victory. The Crusaders won the doubles match ups to take home the win in their first match up of the season.

The Crusaders play again February 23 at Sacred Heart. Start time is set for 4:00 p.m.
