WORCESTER, Mass. - It was a tough day for the Crusaders as they took on the University of Rhode Island on Wednesday evening. The competition would go to URI as they would defeat the Crusaders 7-0. Matt Wierzel played at No. 1 singles, dropping a close match to Henrik Almstrom 6-4, 6-3. Also playing tough was Angelo Sica, who lost his match to Jared Dorfman at No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-3.

In doubles Sica and Kevin Leggio partnered up at the No. 2 spot, where they lost a close match 8-5.

You can catch the Crusaders in their next match at Easton, Mass., at the Stonhill Invitational, October 6 and 7. Start time is set for 9:00 a.m.
