Lisa Wilson And Sam Rush Named To All-Conference Teams

Cape Cod, Mass. - The Commissioner of the ECAC Rudy Keeling announced on March 6, the ECAC Women's East All-Conference teams for the 2007-08 season. The team is voted on by the coaches of the league each year. Holy Cross had two athletes named to the team. Making first team All-Conference was sophomore Lisa Wilson (Corunna, Ontario) and making second team All-Conference was senior Sam Rush (Wakefield, Mass.).

Rush finished the season playing in all 27 games, leading the Crusaders with 14 goals, 15 assists for a total of 29 points. She was third in the conference on power-play goals having nine for the season. Sixth in the conference in short-handed points with two goals, one assist for three points. She was seventh in the conference on short-handed goals with two made for the season.

Wilson finished the season playing in all 27 games, second in goals for the team with 12, 11 assists and 23 total points. Wilson was second in the conference defensive scoring with 10 goals, 15 assists and 25 points. She was seventh in the conference on short-handed goals with one goal, two assists and three points.

This concludes the women's ice hockey season.
