Results

Worcester, Mass. - The women's swimming and Diving kicked off the second half of their season hosting U. of Vermont and Central Conn. The Crusaders fared well taking three first place finishes and 16 top five finishes.

Taking firsts included freshman Molly O'Brien (Bedford, N.Y.) in the 1000 yard freestyle with a finishing time of 11:55.39. Sophomore Lauren Tatro (Charlotte, N.C.) scored a first place finish in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:05.94. The final first place for the Crusaders would go to sophomore Maggie Gousman (Fanwood, N.J.) in the100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:09.27.

In diving, sophomore Rachael Martinez (Chelmsford, Mass.) would take a second place finish in the 3 meter diving event with a score of 213.80. Martinez had a third in the 1 meter diving as well with a score of 188.75.

The Crusaders compete again January 25th for the Worcester City Championship meet. Start time is set for 5:00pm.
