Army Defeats Holy Cross Swimming & Diving Teams

Worcester, Mass. - The Crusader men's and women's swimming and diving team hosted the Army Black Knights on Friday, in their third home competition of the year. The Black Knights would win on the men's competition with a score of 138.5-96.5, and also come out victorious in the women's meet 134-103. The Crusaders would win the women's 200 individual medley and the women's 100 freestyle, while tying for first in the men's 100 butterfly.

For the women Alisha Carrazza would pull a first in the 100 free with a time of 102.29. Her teammate Maggie Gousman would take first in the 200 IM with a time of 2:33.81, which would be her fourth win in a row in that event. On the men's side Aaron Brosnan would tie with Jeffery Tolbert of Army in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:00.49 for a split in first place.

The Crusaders will be competing again November 16-18 in the Boston University Invitational in Boston, Mass. The start time if set for 10:00 a.m.
