Cougar Pride Road Tour Kicks Off Tuesday Night At Skeeter's Gulfgate

Free event scheduled for 5:30 start and is open to the public

The University of Houston Athletics Department and Cougar Pride are scheduled to launch the 2008 Coaches Road Tour Tuesday night at Skeeter's Mesquite Grill at 750 Gulfgate Mall (I-45 South and 610).

Tuesday's event, the first of three road tours this summer, begins at 5:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Light hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar will be available each night.

Athletics Director, Dave Maggard; Head Football Coach, Kevin Sumlin; Head Men's Basketball Coach, Tom Penders; Head Women's Basketball Coach Joe Curl; Head Baseball Coach, Rayner Noble and Head Softball Coach Kyla Holas are scheduled to be in attendance Tuesday night.

Dave Maggard and the UH coaches will discuss last season, and what to expect for the upcoming year. Other special guests, including selected student-athletes and former greats, will also be present.

The next two events will be held on Wednesday, June 25 at Skeeter's Mesquite Grill in Sugar Land at 16535 Lexington and Tuesday, July 22 at 5529 Bissonnet.
