ABILENE, Texas - Hardin-Simmons' baseball team has added a game to its schedule and will play at Texas Tech University at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Dan Law Field.

The Cowboys are riding a six-game winning streak to jump back into the American Southwest Conference race for the postseason, after a 1-7 start.

HSU has not played a Division I school since playing the Red Raiders in 2005. HSU lost that game 10-6.

The Red Raiders are 21-13 on the year and feature two Abilene players - Chris Hall and Blake Lemen on their roster. HSU is 18-14 on the year. The game is being played as both teams have had a game weathered out.

HSU head coach Steve Coleman played for Texas Tech head coach Larry Hayes at Lubbock Christian.
