ABILENE, Texas - Sul Ross State went 8-for-12 behind the 3-point arc in the second half and rallied for a 68-64 win over Hardin-Simmons in American Southwest Conference men's basketball action at the Mabee Complex on Thursday. The Lobos hit 11 3-pointers in the game and combined that with a 19-for25 night at the free throw line. They only hit eight shots inside the arc the entire night. Hardin-Simmons led 25-19 at halftime, but SRSU battled back and took their first lead of the night on the heels of a 12-2 run over a span of 1:18.
