Chicago, Ill. - 32 UIC student-athletes have been named to the Horizon League Fall 2007 Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced Jan. 24.

The cross country/track and field squads had 10 members honored, with six men and four women named to the honor roll.

The baseball, volleyball and men's swimming and diving teams each had four honorees, women's tennis and women's swimming and diving had three members named. The soccer team and men's tennis each have one representative on the honor roll.

For a Horizon League student-athlete to be named to the Academic Honor Roll, they must meet three criteria. The student-athlete must participate in at least one of the Horizon League's 19 sports during the most recent (or current) season; complete three semesters as a full-time student at the same member institution; and maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.20 on a 4.0 scale as of December 31, 2007.
