Chicago, Ill.- The UIC men's basketball team heads north to Rogers Park to square off with crosstown rival Loyola at the Joseph J. Gentile Center this Saturday night.

Tip-off between the Flames (12-10, 6-5 Horizon League) and the Ramblers (9-13, 5-7 Horizon League) is slated for 7 p.m. Central.

Adam Levinson and Kenny McReynolds will bring the call to listeners live on WIND 560 AM.

These two teams met in a classic battle just last month, needing two overtime periods to settle their differences in a 78-68 UIC win at the Pavilion on Jan. 12.

The Flames have won three of the last four meetings against the Ramblers.

Junior guard Josh Mayo is the Flames' leading offensive threat. Mayo averages a team-best 18.4 points per game that ranks second in the Horizon League.

Mayo is also the nation's most accurate three-point shooter, hitting from downtown at a rate of 55.6 percent (70-for-126).

Junior center Scott VanderMeer has been averaging a double-double in nine games since the start of the 2008 calendar year. VanderMeer has posted an average of 10.1 ppg and 10.0 rpg during that span.
