Men's Tennis Downs Buffalo
March 9, 2008 Chicago, Ill. - The UIC men's tennis team capped off a successful weekend with a victory over the University at Buffalo on Saturday, taking the match 5-2. The Flames performed well all across the lineup, winning the second and third doubles matches. Sebastian Lystad defeated Marcelo Mazzetto a7-6 (7), 6-4 at the second singles slot, while Bastian Harbo moved up to the first singles position. Harbo narrowly lost a 7-6, 7-6 battle with Nikesh Singh Panthlia. Adriano Liccardo continues to excel at No. 3 singles, defeating Kirill Kolomytes for his seventh-consecutive victory this season. The Flames look to open the outdoor season at home against league foe Youngstown State on March 29 at 1 p.m.
