Hinsdale, Ill. - The UIC men's tennis squad took down league rival Youngstown State on Saturday evening, claiming the match in a 6-1 decision.

The Flames (7-7, 2-0) claimed the doubles point with ease after Sean Kreymborg and Danny Wilson picked off the Penguins team of Zach Landgraf and and Maurice Rucker with a 8-1 victory.

At the second doubles position, Eric Fey and Adriano Liccardo defeated Diego Cerzosimo and Chris Leson, 8-4. With the victory, senior Fey is now a lone doubles win away from being the all-time doubles leader for the Flames.

UIC took all but one singles match against YSU. Bastian Harbo led the way for the Flames, defeating last weekend's Horizon League player of the week, Ryan Trapp, 6-4, 5-7, 11-9 at the second singles slot.

The Flames will put a season-best four match win streak on the line against Southern Illinois on Sunday. The match is scheduled for a 12 p.m. start at the Hinsdale Racquet Club.
