Chicago, Ill. - UIC senior Terell Williams (Rock Island, Ill./Rock Island) was named the Horizon League Athlete of the Week for the period ending Feb. 13, the league office announced on Wednesday.

Williams won the pole vault title and set a personal-best mark of 4.70m at the Dick Pond Invitational on Saturday. He also placed third in the triple jump (13.28m) and fourth in the long jump with a leap of 6.60m.

His efforts in the pole vault and long jump moved him into second and third place among Horizon League performances.
