DeKalb, Ill. - DeAvera Todd and Kayleigh Kremer won event titles for the Flames as they took on Northern Illinois and Central Michigan at the NIU Convocation Center on Sunday afternoon.

UIC finished in third with 189.875, followed by Northern Illinois edging out Central Michigan 194.525-194.075 to win the team title.

Todd was impressive on the vault as she won her second consecutive crown of the season tying a school record 9.925.

Kremer won her first event title of the year taking home the uneven bars crown with a season-best 9.775.

Annie Kachman and Sarah Murray had strong performances on the vault as they each tied for second place with season-high scores of 9.850.

Other performances highlighting the afternoon included identical scores of 9.725 on vault for Zandre Labuschagne and on the floor exercise for Emily Fiorilli.

The Flames look to get back in the winning column this Saturday as they face SEMO and Ball State at the UIC Physical Education Building beginning at 6 p.m.
