Chicago, Ill. - UIC swimming and diving standouts Evan Dunn and Sonia Peterson were named the Horizon League male swimmer and female diver of the week, for the period ending Nov. 25, the league office announced on Wednesday.

Dunn claimed victories in the 200 IM (1:56.43) and the 200 fly (1:54.87) against Saint Louis on Saturday, with both times placing him within the top three performers in the Horizon League this season.

Winning the weekly diving honor for the second week in a row, Peterson won the one-meter against the Bilikins with a score of 231.60 and placed second on the three-meter with a mark of 234.50.

This is the third league honor for Peterson and the first for Dunn.

The Flames return to action at Western Illinois on December 20th at 2 p.m.
