Columbia, Mo. - The UIC women's tennis team went 1-1 over the weekend in Missouri, defeating Southeast Missouri 6-1 on Sunday after falling to Missouri 5-2 on Saturday.

The tandem of senior Lubica Nadasska and Kristen McPhillips kicked things off for the Flames on Saturday, defeating the No. 1 doubles pairing of Kaitlin Dunham and Sofia Ayala 8-7.

The successful doubles pair would then pick up the lone singles victories for UIC, with Nadasska defeating Mallory Weber at the second singles position 6-1, 6-2 and McPhillips taking down Dunham at the third slot 6-4, 6-4.

At the second doubles position, the duo of Suzanna Gracanin and Ilinca Cristescu gave the 43rd ranked doubles team in the country all they could handle, but were defeated by Mallory Weber and Chrissy Svetlic 8-4.

The Flames found their rhythm against S.E.M.O on Sunday, snatching up the trio of doubles matches with relative ease. At the third position, Grace Gill-Morlis and Jenna Reisch blanked the S.E.M.O. team composed of Elise Nattier and Taylor Orahood 8-0.
