Women's Tennis Downs Green Bay April 5, 2008 Appleton, Wis. - The UIC women's tennis team swept Green Bay, 7-0, on Saturday afternoon to pick up the Flames first league victory of the season. After winning all three doubles matches, the Flames swept through all singles victories in straight sets. Ilinca Cristescu picked up a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Emily Lawent at No. 1 singles for her first career Horizon League win. Grace Gill-Morlis kicked off league play with a 6-0, 6-1 win against Callee Conda at the fourth singles slot for her 21st straight victory against league rivals. The senior is undefeated in both singles and doubles against league rivals over the past three seasons. UIC will face off against Youngstown State at Flames Courts on Sunday at 10 a.m.
