This Week on Redbird All-Access - April 22-27
April 21, 2008 NORMAL, Ill. - This week's schedule for Redbird All-Access, the Illinois State Athletics Department's internet multimedia platform, will feature exclusive live coverage of four Illinois State softball games, as the Redbirds play host to both Indiana State (Wednesday) and Drake (Saturday-Sunday) in key Missouri Valley Conference series. The live Redbird All-Access action will kick off with the ISU softball team's single game against Indiana State at 4 p.m. Wednesday in the series finale of the home-and-home series between the Redbirds and Sycamores. This weekend will prove to be pivotal for the Redbird softball team, as just two weeks remain in the season, and ISU (21-18 overall, 11-6 Missouri Valley Conference) stands only a half game ahead of Drake (21-19, 11-5 MVC) as of Monday night. Both games of Saturday's doubleheader between the Redbirds and Bulldogs will be shown live on Redbird All-Access, beginning at noon. Sunday's series finale will also be shown live at noon. In an effort to continue to provide Illinois State Athletics fans with the most comprehensive past and present coverage of their favorite team, Redbird All-Access has recently added archived, on-demand video coverage of past select ISU men's basketball team highlights and Redbird football highlights. Also included in the recently added archived video sections is complete game coverage of the ISU men's basketball team's 1998 NCAA Tournament game versus Tennessee, as well as the Redbird men's basketball team's 1983 Missouri Valley Conference Tournament Championship game versus Tulsa.
