2008 Summit League Men's Basketball All-League Release

Elmhurst, IL - IPFW's senior forward Jaraun Burrows has been selected to the 2008 All-Summit League Second Team in voting conducted by league coaches, sports information directors, and media.

Burrows finished league play averaging 14.7 points and 6.3 rebounds a game. 

He was named Summit League Player of the Week back on January 22.

IUPUI's George Hill was named Player of the Year.  Oral Roberts' Scott Sutton grabbed Coach of the Year honors.

No. 5 IPFW will take on No. 4 Southern Utah in their opening round game of the 2008 Summit League Tournament presented by J.D. Young Company, on Sunday at 7:00 p.m.

The tournament will be held at the John Q. Hammons Arena in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  For ticket information log on The Summit League web site at www.thesummitleague.org.
