First Round Results

Mundelein, IL - The IPFW Mastodons currently sit in fourth place at the Caputo Invitational hosted by Loyola University.

The `Dons carded a team score of 339, two behind Detroit with a 337. Youngstown State leads the field with a 325 while Loyola is in second with a 326. UW-Green Bay rounds out the first-round field with a 409.

Leading the way for IPFW was Alison Rathsman, who carded an 82, tying her for eighth place in the field. Abbey Waltke and Nikki LeRose each shot an 85, tied for 12th overall, with Nicolle Geyer rounding out the scoring four for the `Dons with an 87, earning 19th place through the first round. Jacque Speece was the final IPFW golfer, shooting an 88 for a tie of 20th place with a round to go in the competition.

The `Dons take back to the course on Tuesday, starting at 9:00 AM CST.
