Final Results

Mundelein, IL - The IPFW Mastodon women's golf team took fourth place at the Caputo Invitational, hosted by Loyola University in the team's final tune-up before the Summit League Championships, to be hosted by Western Illinois University on April 20 through 22.

The `Dons carded a 36-hole score of 686, 14 behind third place Detroit. Youngstown State won the event with a 648, with host Loyola taking second with a 660. Wisconsin-Green Bay took fifth overall with an 813.

Despite windy conditions that made low scoring a premium, sophomore Nicole LeRose carded a second-round 84, giving her a two-day score of 169, with senior Nicolle Geyer shooting a 171 to tie for 11th. Abbey Waltke was the fourth `Don finisher, shooting a 172 with Alison Rathsman carding a 175 for a tie of 20th. Jacque Speece rounded out the traveling `Dons, shooting a second-round 92, giving her 180 on the two days.
