2008 IPFW Women's Soccer Team Camp

Fort Wayne, IN - IPFW head women's soccer coach Margaret Saurin has announced plans for a women's soccer team camp for this summer.

The camp, which will take place from July 11-13, will held at IPFW's Hefner Soccer Complex.

Saurin explained what will be accomplished at the camp.

"We are pleased to offer teams the opportunity to play competitive games at the Hefner soccer complex in Fort Wayne. Teams will play games every evening under the lights against other strong high school teams. We have had a very strong response from teams in Indiana and Ohio.

The object of the camp is to give teams an opportunity to play competitive games in order to prepare for their high school season. We are hoping to provide teams with a great learning environment while enjoying the challenge of playing against strong opposition.

Teams can also benefit from sessions with college coaches if they request it. Coaches will be available throughout the weekend to coach the high school teams.

College coaches will also provide a recruiting information session to all players. There will be a Q & A session at the end of the presentation to help players with any individual needs they have.

The camp will offer players a forum on which to display their talent in front of college coaches therefore providing exposure and a potential interest from colleges."
