Complete Results

Loretto, PA - The IPFW Mastodon women's tennis team returned from a month layoff since their last match, and showed no signs of their long break with a dominating 7-0 victory over St. Francis (Pa.). Two players won 6-0, 6-0, as every match was handled in straight sets.

Hanna Hager and Stacy Lish each finished the event without allowing a point, winning 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 and No. 3 singles, respectively; while Mollee Carpenter won 6-3, 6-0 at No. 4 singles. Ashley Hunter was the final `Don netter to complete the match against their opponent, winning 6-3, 6-4 at No. 5. Amy Recht at No. 1, and Rafaela Hadba at No. 6 won by default, the former due to injury and the latter due to a lack of St. Francis players.

Recht and Lish picked up an 8-2 victory at No. 1 doubles, with Hager and Carpenter winning 8-0 at No. 2. Ashley Huffine and Hunter picked up a default victory at No. 3.

The team continues its Pennsylvania road trip, as they will face off against Robert Morris on Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
