Indianapolis, IN - In their Summit League opener, the IPFW Mastodons won three of five singles matches; while taking the doubles point with two wins in pairs; to defeat IUPUI by a 4-2 count at the league cluster, hosted in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The doubles duo of seniors Ashley Coulson and Stacy Lish picked up a quick 8-1 victory at No. 1 pairs, while defending Summit League Player of the Week Hanna Hager teamed with Alexa Rang to win 8-6 at No. 3 doubles.

In singles, freshman Amy Recht won in straight sets at No. 1, winning 6-1, 6-0. Sachi Janek needed three sets at No. 2 singles; 4-6, 6-2, 6-3; with Hager winning in straight sets at No. 5, 6-0, 6-1.

The `Dons take back to the court this afternoon, when they face off against UMKC at 2:00 p.m.
