NASHVILLE, Tenn. - With a tough loss at Belmont on Thursday, the JU men's basketball team has to put it behind them quickly as they wrap up their Music City road trip on Saturday afternoon at Lipscomb.

Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. (EST), with game being broadcast on 1010XL and ASun.TV.

Jacksonville (12-10, 8-2 A-Sun) retains a share of first place in the Atlantic Sun Conference after seeing its five-game road winning streak snapped.

"We have to put the Belmont game behind us and get ready for another tough battle against Lipscomb," said JU head coach Cliff Warren. "Lipscomb is a good team that always plays well at home. We have to be ready for another tough game against a well-coached team that is going to be prepared to play."

On Thursday, JU saw Marcus Allen and Lehmon Colbert score 24 points each, but were the only two Dolphins to score in double figures. Point guard Ben Smith, the Dolphins' leading scorer, was held to just eight points - all coming in the first half.

The Dolphins hit nine 3-pointers in the game, tying the most hit in a game this season. Allen was 3-for-3 from behind the arc, tying his career high as well.

Jacksonville was able to go shot for shot with Bruins on Thursday, equaling the Bruins' 3-point output and was 31-of-61 from the floor (50.8 percent), the second straight game in which the Dolphins have hit more than 50 percent of its shots.

The difference came at the free throw line as Belmont was 16-of-19 while JU was just 7-of-12. Smith, who has attempted 141 free throws this season, did not go to the free throw line for just the second time this season.
