NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Jackson State baseball team fell 13-6 to the University of New Orleans Privateers in non-conference action Tuesday night.

Pernell HALLIMAN suffered the loss for Jackson State. He pitched 2.1 innings and gave up four runs on four hits. Matt Brown got the win for UNO, giving up two runs on six hits in six innings of work.

Jerome TYES led JSU's offensive attack with four hits and a run scored. Enrique Quintero added three hits, a run and a RBI.

Nick Schwaner led UNO with three hits, two runs and three RBI.

Jackson State will return to action Friday, Mar. 28 when the Tigers host in-state rival Alcorn State at the JSU baseball field. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m.
